In their review of the wildly popular Artichoke, the Underground Gourmet suggested customers ask for owner Francis Garcia’s off-the-menu broccoli-rabe sandwich sprinkled with Pecorino. Wonderful and Delicious braved the line and did just that, with video camera in hand, so they could show the sammy in all of its gigantic glory. Is Garcia joking when he says he eats this beast to lose weight? It looks like it could out-calorie even the mighty Awesome Blossom.
