According to Andrea Strong, Alex Raij is out at both of her highly praised tapas bars, El Quinto Pino and Tía Pol. Owner Mani Dawes tells Strong, “Tía Pol and Quinto Pino have parted ways with Alexandra Raij, who is no longer the Executive Chef of either location.” Andrew Donovan, Tía Pol's sous-chef, will take over temporarily. At El Quinto Pino, opening sous-chef Amorette Casaus has been named executive chef.
