As much flack as Top Chef gets for plugging cooking wares, it’s now going to be plugging itself a lot harder. According to Broadcasting and Cable, Bravo is planning a Mediterranean cruise in which former cheftestants will present dishes, as well as a 21-city tour in an 18-wheeler. Cooking classes are also in the works.

Should you want to become one of these cheftestants and indentured servants yourself, get thee on down to the Astor Center on Sunday and line up for the open call for Top Chef 's fifth season. Fill in the application, and you'll meet briefly with the producers. Then just cross your fingers. You might not necessarily end up on a cruise ship: You could be like Ilan and Hung, cooking for charity events like the one they put together the other night.
