Tavern on the Green Pays Up, Admits No Guilt

The lawsuit was brought against the restaurant last September for its “severe and pervasive” harassment of female and minority servers. The restaurant may have paid up, but it is not admitting any guilt. “The management staff whose alleged actions were cited in the filing have not been associated with the restaurant for years,” a restaurant spokesperson told the Times. “Tavern on the Green always has been and will continue to be committed to providing a safe, nondiscriminatory, nonretaliatory work environment for its employees, the vast majority of whom have been with the restaurant for more than a decade.” Of course.
