This year’s Fall Preview brings news of a good food future. Rob and Robin highlight the season’s major openings: Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield’s British seafood restaurant, the John Dory; Zak Pelaccio’s Fatty ‘Cue; and Drew Nieporent’s Corton. If you’re hungry in Tribeca, there’s a David Bouley restaurant nearby, and the Robs have created a helpful map. They also wrote a to-do list, so you’ll know where to eat among all the fall openings. When you work your way through those, consult the “best of the rest.” But if you need a new eating destination now, Rob and Robin highlight Black Iron Burger Shop in the East Village. Seasonal abundance begins!
