If youve ever come home and slipped on a mass of takeout menus on your foyer floor, youll be glad to know that on Saturday a new state law went into effect forbidding companies from leaving unsolicited advertising materials on your property so long as you post a sign saying Do Not Place Unsolicited Advertising Materials On This Property. Fines range from $250 to $1,000, which has to be a bummer for local mom-and-pop operations, but we cant say we dont welcome the opportunity to take out a restraining order against Domino's pizza.
