Death & Woe
The owner of Death & Co., Dave Kaplan, who is already suing the State Liquor Authority to hold onto his liquor license (anyone ever think about the irony of a faux speakeasy fighting to serve booze?), has now filed for a court injunction to prevent his landlord from evicting him. The issue: noise complaints stemming from the opening and closing of his front door. The thing about the bar business is, they’ve got you coming and going. [NYO]
