When the
Post interviewed Gordon Ramsay, it didn’t sound like
Purnima, the midtown restaurant he whipped into shape during the first season of
Kitchen Nightmares, turned out to be much of a success: “Despite a transformative overhaul of its creepy-crawly basement and the arrival of talented Indian chef Vikas Khanna, the dining room still lacks customers.” But in the premiere episode of the new season, the owner claims to be "turning" 18,000 to 20,000 (presumably dollars) a week, bringing in almost $1 million a year. And that’s just fine with Gordo! Plus, he just
loves Chef Khanna. How much wine did he have with dinner before he told the man, “You’re still far too good-looking to be a chef”?
