What to Eat at (Le) Poisson Rouge

Though the performance and art space (Le) Poisson Rouge has been soft-open since June, it will open officially — and debut its menu — on September 23. While you’re contemplating the works of Chuck Close and Devorah Sperber in the gallery, you can eat from the small-plates menu of Idelfonso “Pons” Cordero, formerly of Butter. The “solids” menu is high-low mishmash: a PB&J; or side of tater tots will run you $5, but the $16 pizza is made from “smoked salmon & greens with goat cheese & crème fraîche.”
