Though the performance and art space (Le) Poisson Rouge has been soft-open since June, it will open officially and debut its menu on September 23. While you're contemplating the works of Chuck Close and Devorah Sperber in the gallery, you can eat from the small-plates menu of Idelfonso "Pons" Cordero, formerly of Butter. The "solids" menu is high-low mishmash: a PB&J or side of tater tots will run you $5, but the $16 pizza is made from "smoked salmon & greens with goat cheese & crème fraîche."
