First Look: New Club, Citrine, Opens Tonight for Old Club-Kid Richie Rich

David Rodolitz and Adam Elzer, the guys behind Impulse Productions, are opening Citrine tonight in the former Snitch space. A press release touts its location in the “iconic Chelsea neighborhood” — also worth noting that it’s next to Porky’s. Either way, these guys are responsible for the parties at Upstairs and Garden of Ono, so you know they’ll bring some kind of noise. Opening-week highlights: Richie Rich’s CD launch tonight, Samantha Ronson on Tuesday, and Radar’s Halloween party on Wednesday. Click on the slideshow and you’re looking at the handiwork of architect Sol Sterns — because we know how to take care of you, we’ve photographed the bar in two different colors! The place changes colors, see. Actually it kind of reminds us of that other place that changed colors, where Manor now is, and where the Pink Elephant used to be. What was the name of that place? Anyway — ladies and gents, Citrine.
