Eater hears that the IRS has seized Nello on the Upper East Side, as well as Nello Summertimes in the Hamptons. Is this a simple failure to pay taxes, or something far more sinister? After all, Nello Balan recently spoke to the Times about his ancestor, Vlad the Impaler (a.k.a. Dracula): “I always feel Vlad’s presence in a manner that I unfortunately lack the eloquence to articulate.” Easy to see why authorities would become concerned. [Eater]
