Doron Wong didnt exactly get rave reviews for the greasy grub at Delicatessen (the critics compared it to everything from Hot Pockets to Totino's Pizza Rolls), so its no shocker that the place has installed a new executive chef. It looks like Michael Ferraro, the toque who was in, and then very quickly out, at Fresh, has landed on his feet. According to a Delicatessen rep, Michael will put his own stamp on the Delicatessen menu by integrating international comfort classics from his Italian roots and classical French training. Well see if this warms foodies to the people-watching palace it's doubtful it'll endear it to the upstairs neighbors.
