Mr. Black Moves on Up

It looks like rumors of Mr. Black’s demise (at least, at its 24th Street location) weren’t as exaggerated as owner Stuart Black had us believe. On Friday, Black issued a Facebook message that seems to say the club will move to Rebel, the gargantuan, three-level nightclub, starting November 7. To the commenter who said “NYC gay nightlife is DEAD,” maybe not so much. Black’s note is after the jump.

hey kids,

You know i love my stunts, but this is definitely not a joke. It is time for an upgrade, and yes i am moving mr.Black. We are amazed at the huge success of mr.Black Part 2, and are now building on this renewed strength and confidence to bring you an even more dynamic club experience.
mr.Black Part 3 begins November 7th. Official press info will be released Monday Oct.27th.
We thank Club Rebel NYC for the new partnership/collaboration, and look forward to the new journey.
Always fun and quirky, always fiercely independent and defiantly unique, we promise to not disappoint, time to step it up a notch and show what the New-School of nightlife has to offer.

See you on the new dance floor/runway real soon.
Kisses, Mr.Stuart Black.
