In one of our fave recurring features, the magazine ask both a newcomer to Hunters Point (Joe Schliffer, a grad student and IT consultant) and an old-timer (Lorraine Romano, a longtime waitress at Manducatis) for their favorite spots. Advantage old-timer, for recommending the Waterfront Crab House. The food ain’t great, but starting with the bathtub full of peanuts at the door, it has to be the single kitschiest place in NYC, especially when the lounge singer is in full effect. [NYM]
