Recession Can’t Kill High-End Tasting Events

The tickets to last night's Citymeals-on-Wheels tasting were pricey (starting at $250), but all proceeds went to support the food charity at a time when corporate donations are dwindling. Guests got a nice view of Union Square from 15USW and samples from Gramercy Tavern, Daniel, and even a rare tasting appearance by Per Se. Watch the slideshow to see Melissa Hom's photos of macadamia crumble, suckling pig, monkfish foie gras, and more.
