The ’bag reports that Boqueria’s sister restaurant, Suba, has been sold to Will and Rob Shamlian, the team behind Spitzer’s Corner. “The two men plan on turning it into a Mexican restaurant, ‘which I think is a great idea for this neighborhood,’ DeRochfort added. In the meantime, Suba will be open for another month, during which time the restaurant is offering a major deal: half off any wine on the list if you get a chef’s tasting.” [Feedbag] Update: A rep for the new restaurant tells us it will not be Mexican and promises more in coming weeks.
