Up for Grabs: Isabella’s, Forbidden City, Papaya King, and Others

A broker’s listing has the following venues for sale: The Knitting Factory ($40 per square foot), Café de Bruxelles ($9,250 per month and $750,000 fixture fee), Mantra, Forbidden City, Trio (a rare Croatian eatery), Pam Encore, and Fish Market. There’s also an unnamed three-level, $27,000-per-month meatpacking club with kitchen and cabaret license, but the one we’re really sad about is Isabella’s, the somewhat remote Lower East Side Neapolitan-pizza spot whose wood-burning brick oven and backyard are a hidden treasure. Meanwhile, Eater has sniffed out some other properties: The Neptune Room can be yours for $14,600 a month, and sadly, the Papaya King on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 14th Street is up for grabs.
