24 Prince Still Open, Straight Pimping Their Top Chef

So, speaking of Top Chef alums … First, credit where it’s due: 24 Prince, the intermittently decent Nolita casual-American restaurant, is still open. Since it doesn’t really have a concept to rally around other than its momentarily famous chef Nikki Cascone, this is no small feat. (And, actually, it speaks volumes about the power of the show.) But, second, a suggestion: Possible it’s time to swap out the sign? It’s 2009 and season five has come and gone. Keep the thing focused on the chef, if you like, but laminating is $5 a page at Kinko’s, eh?
