Rocco DiSpirito Would Like to Remind You of His Horrible Childhood

Last night at a screening of Showtime's Nurse Jackie, we were complaining to Rocco DiSpirito about the MTA fare hikes. Turns out the chef shuns public transportation! I havent taken the subway in at least 25 years, Rocco explained. When I was a kid I used to get mugged on the subway and Im still afraid of it. With every interview, Roccos childhood sounds worse and worse: I remember being afraid constantly afraid for my life, he told the Times last December. He repeated the claim to Page Six Magazine: I was terrified every single day. For Roccos sake, we hope his home in Murray Hill is within walking distance of everything.
