Long Island City Is Still Waiting for Dutch Kills

By

Speaking of Sasha Petraske youll recall that his Long Island City saloon, Dutch Kills, was poised to open last month, and yet a Friday-night spot check found the place closed. According to the State Liquor Authoritys website, its license is still pending, despite the fact that Petraske and partner Richard Boccato applied for it in December of 2007. On Friday, there was still a Department of Buildings job permit on the window, and theres no certificate of occupancy on the DOBs website. According to LICNYC, even Sage (the bars food provider) has no idea when it will open. Soon, we continue to hope.
