Muffin Bluffin’ at Starbucks
Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks are making adjustments after a news report found calorie counts to be inaccurate in some of their items (a blueberry muffin at the ’bucks had 580 calories instead of the posted 420). Says Starbucks: “We have contacted the supplier to take immediate corrective action. Until the product meets acceptable specifications, the muffin will be unavailable to customers.” [Nation’s Restaurant News]
