The Slumdog and Gossip Girl Effects

It looks like Park Avenue Winter’s ploy to ride the coattails (or skirttails, or whatever) of Gossip Girl has totally paid off — Eater reports that the restaurant is expecting 250 girls dressed in private-school uniforms to come in each night for free meals. Meanwhile, Pranna is milking Slumdog Millionaire for all it’s worth by inviting you to “party like a slumdog” (um?) this Thursday at 6:30 p.m., when it’ll be serving complimentary street bites and cocktails (including its Slumdog Punch and Specialty Millionaire drink).
