A Look Inside the Clerkenwell, Launching Brunch Tomorrow

We’ve shown you Clerkenwell’s dinner menu, but with brunch starting this weekend, we thought we better show you that menu, too. And while we’re at it, how about a peek inside the new gastropub? Late-night and cocktail menus are currently being finalized to debut next week. Bartender Liz Lawrence was at Milk & Honey for a brief spell, so we may well be in for a treat.
Freshly baked pastries or white/brown toast with butter, jams and marmalades
(Selection of warm miniature Danish/croissant & toasts served with a mug of tea/coffee)
Yogurt with seasonal fruit
(Fresh market fruits freshly cut to order and served with natural/Greek/low fat yogurt)
Bircher muesli served with summer berry compote
(Our home-made muesli soaked in apple juice over night and then mixed with yoghurt)
Boiled egg and soilders with toasted white or wholegrain bread
(2 soft boiled eggs served with toasted fingers of white or whole-meal bread)
The ‘Clerkenwell’ fish n’ chips, twice cooked hand cut chips, house tartare sauce
(Cod fillets fried in our house ale batter served with chunky chips and our house made tartare)
Bubble & squeak with free range egg
(Mash potato & curly kale cake served with a pan-fried free range egg)
The full English breakfast
(Sausage, bacon, tomato, mushroom & 2 fried eggs with toast and a mug of tea)
½ doz oysters with a spicy bloody Mary
(1/2 dozen rock oysters served with our house made Mary)
English breaded goat’s cheese with pickled baby beets, mixed salad, hazelnuts
(Fried Ash wood goat’s cheese served with 2 different beets, salad, hazelnuts and sweet sour syrup)
Walnut crusted chicken served with classic Waldorf salad of celery leaves, Sweet
Granny smith Apples and mixed baby lettuce
(Chicken tenders coated in walnuts served with celery & apple, house made mayo)
FRESHLY SQUEEZED/PRESSED JUICES
Orange, Grapefruit, Apple, Carrot, Ginger, Celery
