A First Look Inside Emporio and Its Food

In the magazine this week, Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld previewed Emporio, “a Roman-inspired trattoria that’s meant, via a white-tile-and-weathered-wood transformation of François Payard’s late InTent, to evoke a twenties-era Roman grocery (provisions will be sold, as well).” Look for dishes like Frascati-wine-braised rabbit and favas with mint and pecorino, or get a pizza from the wood-burning oven. View our slideshow for a better look inside.
