Standard’s Patio Offers Bites From the Restaurant, Opening June 15

By

The Standard Hotels restaurant wont be opening until June 15 (according to a server), but in the meantime, the Living Room (the hotels lobby lounge with outdoor patio) has started serving what theyre calling tastings from chef Dan Silvermans menu. These items might not necessarily carry over to the restaurant, but theyll give you an idea of whats coming out of the kitchen. By the way, after hearing a waitress describe the forthcoming American bistro, we really must entreat restaurateurs and reps to stop using a great burger as a hook. As enticing as that is, its kinda like being asked about your restaurant and responding, Its going to have a great Caesar salad you get the idea Okay, rant done. Heres the Living Room menu.
