Nominations for the 5th Annual Vendy Awards (occurring September 26 at the Queens Museum of Art) are now being accepted. This year’s judges will include Midtown Lunch’s Zach Brooks (you’ll recall he busted a Mexican street cart on Vendy fraud), Pichet Ong, Jacques Torres, and a “citizen judge” to be determined. If you want to be the lucky amateur, you can currently enter into a drawing by buying tickets that are $40 off of the normal $100 price. [Midtown Lunch]
