The Feedbag checks in with Nick Anderer, who doesnt say much about his plans for Danny Meyers Gramercy Park Hotel restaurant beyond that it will be full-fledged Italian and will feature lots of great Italian wine and simple, delicious Italian pastries to complement the savory menu. Meanwhile, Alan Yau, the chef who was set to occupy the Wakiya space before it became Wakiya (youll recall Ian Schrager parted ways with him after he couldnt get visas for his chefs), tells Zagat that hes finally coming to New York after all. Hell bring a branch of his London restaurant Hakkasan (which just opened in Miami) to a location thats still TBD.
