A walk past Civetta confirms it finally opened last night. The SfogliaVia Quadronno spinoffs opening date has been day-to-day for over a month; feel free to reacquaint yourself with the space and the menu before calling for reservations (they were able to squeeze us in for 8:15 p.m. tonight). Right now, until lunch starts, the restaurant is open from 6 p.m. till 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and till 12:45 a.m. thereafter, and the downstairs lounge (possibly competition for La Esquina a few doors down?) is open till 1 a.m. early in the week and till 2 a.m. later on. Elsewhere in Little ItalyNolita scenesterism: Goldbars doorman Jon Lennon tells BlackBook its all about the vision of the room and the right people, whether its a couple of hoodlums or a whole table of hot girls, and Guest of a Guest has it that Southsides doorman Timothy Sheldon was let go after an altercation with a patron.
