Hot Diggity Dog! Season Six of No Reservations Premieres Tonight

On tonight’s season premiere of No Reservations, Bourdain tours Chile and sucks down a mutant hot dog called the “completo” that’s something akin to the “cachorrao” we had in Lisbon. Also airing this season: Australia (July 20), the Rust Belt (July 27), “On the Street” (August 3), San Francisco (August 10), Thailand (August 17), the Rockies (August 24), “Burning Questions” (August 31), and Sardinia (September 14). And Tony’s blog promises a tour of outer-borough New York on September 7. Should you care to predict where he will (or should) visit, do so in the comments. Meanwhile, we’re kind of over the whole bizarre-foods meme, but we couldn’t help but enjoy a preview clip from Madventures, a popular Finnish show that has been picked up by the Travel Channel and features two pals who cross the globe doing wild and crazy things (Jackass meets No Reservations?). In the Russia episode, premiering after Tony, the vegetarian of the duo is forced to eat boiled leeches full of his buddy’s blood. Good times ensue.
