What to Eat at Mercat While Paco Guzman Is in the Kitchen

Last night our bartender at Mercat told us a celebrity chef from Barcelona was in the house. No, no, not Ferran Adri (whose beer they sell), but one of his disciples, Paco Guzman of Santa and Santa Maria restaurants in Barcelona. His menu, below, is being offered alongside Mercats regular menu through July 21, plus there will be daily specials such as marinated sardines with eggplant and Greek yogurt curry. Highly recommended: the duck liver with figs.
