What to Eat at Organika, the Latest Neapolitan Newcomer

Earlier this week, we brought word that the prolific Marcello Assante (owner of Boom, Baldo Vino, Porta Toscana, and others) had teamed up with Melissa Muller (formerly chef-owner of Bleecker Streets Gallo Nero) to open Organika. Now that its open, Muller plans to use local, organic ingredients whenever possible (local trumps organic when the latter isnt available), and on the back of her menu, shell provide detailed descriptions of the sourcing of ingredients, such as fiore sardo sheep's milk cheese (which she warms and drizzles with lavender honey). Of course shes serving Neapolitan pizzas, too. Menupages has the menu.
