W’s ‘The Court’ Hotel Closes Icon Restaurant
We might’ve seen this coming (“on an off night, a couple could cozy up with the sexy space all to themselves,” reads our listing), but Icon, the sleek eatery in the W New York “The Court” hotel, closed last week. We’re told it was purely owing to slow business. The space (which included a skylight and patio) may reopen as a restaurant, but the hotel is retaining chef Michael Wurster, so his Deconstructed Snickers may make a comeback.
