First PetalBelle shuttered after just a year in business, and now City Sweet Tooth learns that another pastry shop, Luxee, will do the same this weekend. The bakery, helmed by Troisgros vet Yoshie Shirakawa, specialized in highly seasonal, mostly organic French desserts with a Japanese flair (City Sweet Tooth especially liked the macarons and the unconventional caramel apple). There was no answer when we called to confirm.
