Food Fights at Brooklyn Book Festival

Food lovers are not forgotten at Sunday’s Brooklyn Book Festival. Look to the North Stage at Borough Hall at 1 p.m. to see Giulia Melucci (I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti), Michelle Maisto (The Gastronomy of Marriage), and Jonathan Deutsch (Gastropolis, Food & New York City) talk about “Feeding Love in NYC.” At 3 p.m., Ed Levine will moderate a discussion on American foodways between Mark Kurlansky (editor, The Food of a Younger Land), Jennifer 8. Lee (The Fortune Cookie Chronicles), and Liz Thorpe (The Cheese Chronicles). Both events are free.
