Slice and Móle Conquer New Neighborhoods

A couple of small-time expansions to report. First, Northside Piers, the Williamsburg condo that’s getting a Duane Reade this Saturday, will also house a Brooklyn outpost of Móle, according to a sign we spotted. The Lower East Side location tells us it will open at 178 Kent Avenue, near North 5th Street, in two months. And Slice, the Perfect Food, has taken over the former Monster Sushi, one of the many vacant spaces on Hudson Street (at number 535, near Charles Street). Unofficial word is, it’ll open in early October; in addition to the usual celiac- and vegan-friendly pizza, the plan is for a wine bar and possibly outdoor seating.
