Café Noir isn't the only watering hole celebrating good news today. Death & Co. writes in to tell us that after over two years of fighting the SLA for its right to party, it has finally gotten the Authority's go-ahead to serve until 2 a.m. The new hours are 6 p.m. till 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 6 p.m. till 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Of course, this won't please the community kooks who rallied to get Death & Co.'s license taken away in the first place (it was eventually reinstated after a court battle), but everyone else can help Death & Co. celebrate this Sunday when there will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be $8.
