Carnival isn’t the only sideshow new on the nightlife scene. Steve Lewis reports that the Chelsea club that’s been (barely) known as Quo, Myst, Retox, and most recently, Prime will once again be known as Quo, and it’ll house Box-type variety acts hosted by none other than the Box’s former cocaine-blower, Raven O. (by cocaine-blower we mean his shtick involved blowing white powder all over the audience). And also in Chelsea, a reader points out that Todd English’s project at 39 West 21st Street (which has been hosting events but won’t fully open until later this month at the earliest) just got some signage via this ambigramic mural (as you can see, it reads Juliet both right side up and upside down).
