Obamas Find Their ‘Crustmaster’

President Obama shares his predecessor’s love of nicknames, and his one for White House pastry chef Bill Yosses is hilarious: the Crustmaster. The First Family is a big fan of Yosses pies, though they limit themselves to slices just once a week. Yosses, who worked at Josephs Citarella, Bouley, and Tavern on the Green before moving to the White House in 2007, keeps busy making desserts for the steady stream of guests at White House events. He also knows what not to make: Malia and Sasha won’t touch rhubarb pies, and none of the Obamas like meringue. [AP via Google]
