Last week, Fork in the Road brought the dream-come-true news that Spanish importer Despaña is expanding into its next-door space. It will be adding a café, wine store, and perhaps some on-the-premises wine and beer to go with its fantastic sandwiches. And now more good news for Soho-Nolita dwellers: A walk-by indicates that Viet-Nam Bánh Mì So 1 is also colonizing its next-door neighbor, the shuttered chocolatier Divalicious. It’s a much-needed move, since there’s currently no seating in the sliver of a shop, and, as we’ve previously noted, the bánh mì boom has made it a popular lunchtime destination. Now we’ll finally get to eat one of these things sitting down!
