Soho Spots: Ex Falls Space Is for Rent; Soho Grill Will Return Soon

Photo: Daniel Maurer

By the looks of some trash outside, Two Eighteen is a goner. The bar took over the space that used to be the Falls, where Imette St. Guillen famously met the bouncer who killed her, and drew so many noise complaints the landlord threatened to evict it. A “for rent” sign indicates it won’t be back. A few doors down, the Soho Grill, an easy-to-miss neighborhood diner, has also closed, but the owner assures us he’s simply giving it a much-needed renovation and that when he reopens next week, “everything will be the same.”
