So much for Alain Ducasse’s prestige being on the wane. Bloomberg reports that Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester (the chef’s two-year-old restaurant in London) has picked up a Michelin star and now has three, giving Ducasse nineteen overall (only Joel Robuchon has more). Elsewhere across the pond, Slashfood pens a love letter to Gordon Ramsay, and Property Week announces that Jamie Oliver’s first barbecue restaurant with Adam Perry Lang of Daisy May’s will open in October 2010 at Land Securities’ One New Change in the City of London, with locations possibly to follow in Dubai, Cape Town, and Berlin.

Update: The Daily Mail points out that Ramsay’s restaurant at Claridge’s has lost its star. [Daily Mail]
