Today’s Community Board news: Eater reports that members of CB2 were inclined to put their stamp of approval on Il Buco’s plan to open an annex selling salumi and other imports, but the discussion was tabled when parties couldn’t agree on a stipulation that would prevent food demos on the street. The licensing committee also declined to support Civetta’s bid to extend its hours. Meanwhile, after attending Monday’s Community Board 2 meeting, Fork in the Road reports that the owner of Plan B is splitting the space into a “tavern and salon” called the Blind Barber. And some other half-formed morsels of intel: Sasha Petraske is adding a food and wine program at White Star, and the owner of Bowery Electric and Niagara, Johnny T, is planning to open an oyster bar on East 7th Street.
