The president of the Seward Park Co-op tells the Villager that Grand Park, the eatery Jesse Hartman tried for months to bring to the former Isabellas Oven space, is a no-go. Back in November, Hartman hadnt yet signed a lease but was hopeful that, with the help of well-funded partners who owned numerous respected restaurants worldwide, hed be able to bring a restaurant with a glass-enclosed patio to the Co-Ops property. It seems the deal fell through shortly thereafter, and now it remains to be seen what the neighborhood will get instead. Hey, theres always the new tiki bar nearby!
