Tavern Trademark Nixed

The latest in the case of Tavern on the Whatever: A judge has ruled that the city can’t trademark the name Tavern in the Park, because it’s too generic. Whether he can trademark it or not, Dean Poll still plans to use it as a backup name should a judge rule that the previous operators have a right to keep the Tavern on the Green moniker.
