Massachusetts has the third largest Haitian population in the United States, so it’s no surprise that several local restaurants have stepped up in response to last week’s catastrophic earthquake. We’ve compiled a list below, which we’ll be continually updating; if you hear of any other food-related benefits, please let us know in the comments.
Beacon Hill Bistro: All lunch proceeds from January 19-21 will be donated to Partners in Health. [Herald]
BerryLine: From January 19 through January 21, BerryLine will donate 5 percent of the total revenue to disaster relief. [Herald]
dante: 100 percent of the proceeds from the $10 Port-au-Prince Sazeac will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. [Grub Street]
District: Cocktail party to support disaster relief efforts, January 20 at 8:30, $20. [Grub Street]
The Fireplace: All proceeds from the restaurant’s Haitian sweet potato bourbon cake will go to Partners in Health. [Herald]
Legal Sea Foods: All proceeds from the Haitian rum raisin bread pudding, to be introduced in February, will go to UNICEF and Partners in Health. [Grub Street]
Petit Robert Bistro: Proceeds from the French language dinner on February 1 will go to Partners in Health. [Herald]
Picco Pizza & Ice Cream: Dishwasher Kepler Pauleus is currently in Haiti and unable to be located. On Wednesday, January 20, the restaurant will offer an all-you-can-eat menu for a suggested donation of $25, with all proceeds going to Partners in Health. [Herald]
Qdoba Mexican Grill: A dollar from each large drink will go towards the Red Cross. [Citysearch]
Radius: 100 percent of dessert sales are being donated to Partners in Health. [Citysearch]
Rialto: From now through January 31, the restaurant is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from its vegetable side dishes to Partners in Health. [Citysearch]
Stella: Evan Deluty, Anthony Caturano, Dante de Magistris, Michael Schlow, and Marc Orfaly will cook on January 26 at 6:30 p.m. Every dollar of the $100 ticket charge will go to Yele Haiti. [Grub Street]
