Jos, which opened in Nolita this summer with Ian Topper-Kapitan at the helm, has announced its new executive chef, Colin Kruzic. Actually Kruzic, who was most recently chef de cuisine at James and has also put in time at Bouley and Maremma, has been in the kitchen for more than a few months. Well pass on the announcement, though, if only because his jerky and slap special (his jerky of the moment plus a Porkslap beer) is further proof of the current jerky craze.
