Eamonn’s of Brooklyn Closed by New York Supreme Court

Financial-district pub Eamonn’s of Brooklyn has been closed by order of the New York Supreme Court — the orange sticker attached to the door this morning doesn’t give a reason, but we’ve left a message with the bar’s sister location in Brooklyn Heights (ironically enough, a hangout for judges and lawyers) to find out if and when the blues jams and bangers and mash will return. This is just the latest bit of ill fortune to fall on the address: A couple of years ago, owner Seamus O’Toole died after falling down a flight of stairs at the bar.
