While plugging Top Chef alum Eli Kirshtein’s upcoming appearance in Kansas City, a local blog, the Pitch, reveals that in addition to his gig at Solo, the sideburned one is “looking for a space to start his own restaurant, with the Bowery being one potential neighborhood.” Ah yes, of course — the Bowery. Actually, we recently spotted Eli gabbing into his celly on St. Marks Place, so it would seem he likes the neighborhood. Dude might want to look into Sala, which was on the market in November.
