Meatheads, the opening of St. Anselm next week isn’t the only thing you have to be excited about. Kampuchea has denied us many a bacon-sandwich lunch thanks to its nighttime-only hours but now it’ll be open during the day on the weekends, at least. Brunch starts this Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The menu, which you can see below, is refreshingly hollandaise-free— sign us up for the sweetbread and ramp hash with butter-poached duck egg. By the way, if you’re a fan of Kampuchea, you may want to check out Urbandaddy’s write-up of West Village newcomer Takashi— among the raw meats you’ll be able to grill at your table will be “flash-boiled Achilles tendon, grilled throat bone and the extremely hard to source Akase—the legendary fourth stomach.” Beef heart, too!
