Cuozzo Calls Keith McNally a ‘Big, Fat Crybaby’

Not a good day for Keith McNally. On the same day that Jay Cheshes says the food at Pulino’s “doesn’t even reach that humble mark” (Sarah DiGregorio of the Voice has a more favorable take), Steve Cuozzo calls McNally a “big, fat crybaby” for whining about Adam Platt’s review. After recalling the time McNally complained to Cuozzo’s editor over something he wrote about the reservations policy at Pastis, Cuozzo says this latest project is “hardly worth wasting a review on,” but knocks its “faux-distressed shtick” nonetheless, and says McNally has “lost the creative daring that made him a Prince of the City.” Safe to say the Cuozz is hereby banished from Keith’s kingdom.
